Step Teachers is currently seeking a Computer Science Teacher for a position in Launceston. We have established strong relationships with numerous schools and academy trusts across the county. This Computer Science position offers a February 2025 start for ongoing full-time supply. There is the potential for this to be extended until the end of the academic year.

Computer Science Teacher Role:
In-depth knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Computer Science curriculum
Effective organization and professional management of the classroom and its resources
Collaboration with other staff members, both in the classroom and school-wide
Ability to assess students, track their progress, and provide constructive feedback to foster their development
Skill in planning and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons
Adherence to school policies and consistent implementation of these standards
Computer Science Requirements:
Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
Recent experience as a Computer Science Teacher in a mainstream Secondary School
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A degree in a related field is desirable
