Your new role The role involves delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons to students across a range of year groups, ensuring they are engaged and supported in their learning. The successful candidate will foster a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain continuity within the department. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, requiring flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining high teaching standards. What you'll need to succeed Strong Subject Knowledge:

A solid understanding of Computer Science, including programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar), algorithms, and key curriculum topics. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS):

A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level, including GCSE and A-level. Effective Communication Skills:

The ability to explain complex concepts clearly, engage students, and build positive relationships. Classroom Management:

Proven skills in creating an inclusive and well-managed classroom environment that fosters learning and participation. Flexibility and Adaptability:
