As a Computer Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and empowering our students to become confident and proficient in the rapidly evolving field of technology. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging computer science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring coverage of the curriculum and fostering a deep understanding of key concepts. Use innovative teaching strategies and resources to captivate students' interest and promote active participation and critical thinking. Facilitate hands-on learning experiences, including coding workshops, projects, and competitions, to develop students' computational thinking and problem-solving skills. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their progress and achievement, supporting them to reach their full potential in computer science. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across the curriculum and promote digital literacy and creativity among students. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and teaching experience in Computer Science, with a passion for inspiring and empowering students in this field. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scratch, as well as key computer science concepts and principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
