Start Date: January 2025 Salary: MPS/UPS Full job description A secondary school in Southampton is looking for an outstanding teacher of Computing, someone who can teach up to KS5. This school is located in central Southampton with close transport links. The senior leadership and management teams of the school are known to be helpful and supportive toward their staff members and ensure they have a good work-life balance while juggling the day-to-day running of the school. Minimum Requirements: BSc in Computer Science or a similar subject. QTS or QTLS. A good understanding of the GCSE and A Level Syllabus. Thorough understanding of Python. Ability to inspire students to learn and achieve with a strong commitment to the highest standards. Keen to drive the development of related extra-curricular activities and partnerships. Enjoy working in a challenging but highly rewarding environment and be flexible in response to the day-to-day requirements of a large, busy academy.
