Create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Computer Science to students in primary and secondary education. Develop and implement appropriate curriculum plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of diverse learners. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active student participation and academic growth. Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enhance the learning experience. Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of Computer Science education and incorporate relevant technologies and tools into teaching. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Computer Science or related field. Proven experience teaching Computer Science in a primary or secondary education setting. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scratch. Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents. A passion for educating and fostering the intellectual and personal development of young learners. Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up to date with current trends and best practices in Computer Science education.
