About the Role:

As a Computing Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students across KS3, KS4, and KS5. You will create a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of computer science principles. Your role will include developing lesson plans in line with the national curriculum, assessing student progress, and preparing students for exams and real-world applications in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computing Science to a range of abilities from Years 7 to 13.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the field of Computing Science.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Computing Science or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Computing Science at secondary school level, ideally including A-Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and education.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
