Conference and Banqueting Manager Ideal Profile:

  • Previous experience in event operations management, preferably in a luxury or historic venue
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and train a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple events simultaneously
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to handle guest requests efficiently
  • Passion for delivering high-standard events and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments

Conference and Banqueting Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the setup and execution of all conferences and banquets, ensuring each event meets the specific requirements and exceeds guest expectations
  • Coordinate with the culinary, front office, and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless event operations
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss upcoming events, allocate tasks, and address any concerns
  • Maintain high standards of service and presentation in all event spaces, regularly inspecting them for readiness
  • Manage event budgets and resources, optimizing costs while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Provide exceptional leadership to the events team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
