Nestled in Abingdon and surrounded by 22 acres of tranquil parkland our hotel boasts stunning views making us a preferred choice for conferences, weddings, corporate events, and more. With over 20 meeting rooms and 114 bedrooms, Restaurant and Bar, we also have a fantastic onsite leisure club.
We are part of "The Venues Collection", a grouping of five easily accessible event spaces.
You will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the Conference and Events department, ensuring high quality service and guest satisfaction.

More about the role:
  • Plan, organise and execute a wide range of events including conferences, weddings, banquets and corporate meetings.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with the wider Milton Hill House team to ensure high-end delivery of all events held.
  • Proactively manage the duties and responsibilities of the Conference and Event Team.

Who you are:
  • Proven experience in conference and event management role/related role
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Knowledge of industry trends
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
