As an established, growing charity-based events organisation, the role of P/T Conference Manager is an integral part of the company. You will enjoy working alongside the Operations Manager and a team of coordinators and administrators to provide a full events management service to clients, organising in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
The P/T Events Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of an annual portfolio of events and exhibitions.
Responsibilities:
Managing the overall delivery of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events to ensure all activities are delivered on time and on budget. Liaising with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements and producing detailed timelines/production plans for events. Overseeing and managing an Events Administrator who administers delegate registrations and submission processes. Working closely with Conference Programme Committees to prepare individual conference programmes. Managing VIP, speaker, and chairperson participation. Venue sourcing, contracting, and management. Management of AV production teams. Briefing the design team on website requirements. Liaising with clients and designers to create event branding and organising digital and print production. Overseeing setup, on-site management, and breakdown of events. Preparing post-event reports and evaluations.
Qualifications: Have previous events/conference management experience. Possibly be an Events Executive ready to progress.
