Configuration Engineer Our clients based close to Havant have an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Engineer to join their growing team. The Configuration Engineer will help deliver several improvements to the business such as real-time cost flow into quotes, elimination of errors caused by misaligned data, precise specification of bills of operations, and ultimately an online configuration tool that could be exposed to distributors. Duties & Responsibilities:

Implementation of the company's Driveworks Product Configurator and PDM population. Work with external development organizations as required to define architectures, code structures, and product structures to elegantly integrate the systems to meet business objectives. Control the accurate & timely administration of Product Data Management systems (Solidworks PDM). Document the system's overall design, and annotate any code created to ensure knowledge and best practice is captured. Communicate any Design Automation related issues & opportunities to management. Carry out any additional responsibilities as may be considered necessary by the Management team. Ensure that health and safety, with respect to our team & product provision to customers, is always considered. Ideal Skills & Experience:

Proficient in Solidworks CAD. Proficient in Driveworks CAD Automation or equivalent. Knowledge of best practices in CAD, PDM, and Code creation. Proficient with Excel/VBA. Benefits:
