We're seeking an experienced Configuration Management (CM) Manager to lead the modernization of CM systems within a complex engineering setting. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the implementation of transparent, efficient, and scalable processes, fostering collaboration, minimizing risks, and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Develop the Team:
Build and guide a high-performing team, encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement. Improve Processes:
Create efficient CM systems, manage the full lifecycle of Configurable Items (CIs), and ensure quality and reliability. Oversee Change Management:
Implement robust change control and version management processes to ensure transparency and traceability. Encourage Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of CM practices and data-driven decision-making. Drive Automation:
Evaluate and enhance tools for greater efficiency and accuracy. Ensure Compliance:
Align CM processes with industry standards and project needs while tracking performance and risks.
About You: Degree or equivalent in a related field (CM certifications like CMII or CM2-P preferred). Strong experience with CM systems, tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Jenkins), and industry standards like Def Stan 05-57 or ISO10007. Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster collaboration across teams. Strategic thinker with a focus on efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement.
