We are seeking a Connected Car Service Cybersecurity Engineer for a long-term contract role with a globally recognised automotive company, based in Cranfield. This role offers the possibility of lasting several years and provides an opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive cybersecurity projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Engineer to work on connected car services and lead various initiatives within a dynamic and innovative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination & Compliance: Lead coordination with stakeholders to ensure compliance with UN-R155 standards. Cybersecurity Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports on cybersecurity topics at management and vehicle milestone meetings. Team Development: Assess future capability needs and contribute to team building efforts by identifying the required personnel. Legal & Compliance: Liaise with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with cybersecurity objectives. Supplier Communication: Manage communication with suppliers to obtain the necessary cybersecurity-related information. Issue Resolution: Take lead on resolving cybersecurity-related issues during the development process. Requirement Management: Ensure cybersecurity requirements are requested and implemented at the appropriate stages of system development. Industry Trends: Stay up to date with the latest trends in iOS, Android, and Cloud technologies and assess their cybersecurity implications. Cybersecurity Processes: Establish and manage the implementation plan for cybersecurity, including: Cybersecurity Interface Agreement Threat Assessment and Remediation Analysis (TARA) Risk Analysis Results Progress Reports CSMS-related documents Qualifications & Experience:
Required: Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Minimum 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Nice to Have: Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic architecture. Business-level Japanese communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to travel for business (up to two-week trips). Working Hours & Pay:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week. Pay: £30.78 per hour
