At Bath & North East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose – to improve people’s lives. Join our Connecting Families Team as a Senior Practitioner Social Worker! Are you a dedicated and dependable Senior Practitioner Social Worker? We are looking for someone like you to support the Early Help Allocation Panel (EHAP) and make a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families. This post is 15 hours per week to be worked two days out of the following three- Monday, Tuesday or Friday. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare for and attend EHAP meetings Contact families to establish their needs and identify any issues or concerns Conduct home visits and arrange Lead Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings Complete step-down consultations with colleagues Produce detailed written reports and family assessments Requirements:

Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to analyse situations accurately Strong report-writing skills Ability to meet deadlines and stay focused on achieving the best outcomes for children and families Self-motivated and accustomed to working to deadlines Good IT skills Experience in establishing and nurturing multi-agency relationships Why Join Us?
