Consents Manager focuses on managing environmental and consents compliance across construction activities.

What the role involves

• Managing environmental and consents compliance across construction activities.
• Ensure adherence to DCO, CEMP and all associated environmental requirements.
• Coordinating environmental works programmes (surveys, mitigation, monitoring, licences).
• Act as main interface with Employer Consents teams.
• Delivering weekly/monthly reporting and environmental audits.
• Managing environmental incidents, investigations, and close-out actions.

Additional role context

• We are supporting a major UK transmission system operator on Eastern Green Link 1 (EGL1), one of the most significant electricity transmission projects driving the UK’s energy tran.
• EGL1 is a 525 kV HVDC interconnector connecting Scotland and England, enabling large-scale renewable energy transfer and supporting the UK Net Zero agenda.
