What you’ll be doing as a Construction and Integration Engineer Supporting essential design and delivery reviews, identifying risks and issues, and working with stakeholders to resolve them. Carry out health and safety audits to ensure relevant issues are corrected. We are focused on the construction phase of wastewater projects, assessing and reporting project progress, acting to rectify issues, and taking the lead on the escalation process if necessary. Also, ensure all non-conformance is identified and corrected. Managing, identifying, and resolving snags and liaising with Operators and contractors after the takeover to handle defects, the aftercare process, and performance testing. Monitored, agreed on, and approved Takeover tests with the project team. Ensure that the required project documentation meets our specifications and that the information for taking over is approved. Working as an active member of one or more project teams with one or more of our contractors. Hybrid – Thames Valley Based. As part of this role, you must be on site 3-4 days a week, 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate must drive and have a car - this role comes with a car allowance of £4,500 a year. What you should bring to the role Have an HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or background in a similar role. Knowledge of health and safety on construction sites or an SMSTS qualification can be offered as part of the role if the holder is not currently holding it. Understand design, construction, and operations within industries like the theatre sector. Have a background in project delivery and integration within the construction sector. Be confident in communicating with various levels of stakeholders. What’s in it for you? Competitive salary from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum. Car allowance of £4,500 a year. 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service.
