We are actively seeking a proactive, outgoing and motivated Junior Construction Project Manager. We are seeking a Junior Assistant Project Manager / Co-ordinator who will support and work alongside the Project Managers to coordinate projects and help ensure that projects and objectives are delivered on time, within scope and to the agreed budget. Supporting on up to 6 projects at any one time, juggling is a skill you need to possess. Provide administration support across purchasing and procurement. To be considered for this role, you MUST: Have experience as a Junior Project Manager or Project Administrator wanting to step up into a Project Manager’s role. Your experience could be from a Junior Project Manager / procurement or project administration capacity. Have a background of working on residential construction / architectural projects – with some exposure to client interaction / customer service. Be efficient, well organised and able to communicate at all levels – including internal and external stakeholders and very prestigious clients. Must be London based. What you’ll do: Coordinating agreed activities across our construction sites. Ensuring full visibility of activity, costs and risks across all areas of the project. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation – ensuring Buildertrend is updated and maintained. Assisting the Project Manager to define the project scope, project activities and dates, involving all relevant stakeholders (internal and external). Coordinating the project activities by working with all stakeholders to enable flawless execution of the project. Successfully managing relationships with all internal and external facing stakeholders. Monitoring and tracking project progress against the detailed project plan – identifying risk and supporting the Project Manager in identifying mitigation activities. Reporting project progress, status, costs and risk in a regular and timely manner. Monitoring lead times and customer satisfaction. Quoting for works which fall outside our standard installation package. We’re looking for: 3+ years experience of successful end-to-end Project Management delivery incorporating client/business, contractors and procurement. Project management skills. Someone who enjoys a good bit of problem solving. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and confident advising customers. Hyper organised; capable of working on lots of projects simultaneously and prioritising them. Comfortable working with numbers and data. Calm under pressure and able to pick things up quickly and hit the ground running. Bonus points: Project management experience. SMSTS/SSSTS. Previous experience in small to medium size residential projects. ECS / CSCS cardholder. Project Management qualification.
