Job Overview:

As Business Development Manager, you'll be the face of the business, tasked with generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and identifying growth opportunities. This role is for someone who thrives on the thrill of building connections, closing deals, and exceeding targets. With a high level of autonomy and potential for growth within the company, this position is perfect for a results-oriented individual eager to make a tangible impact on a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Networking:

Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events to build and expand our client base. Client Relationship Management:

Establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, ensuring the highest level of service and support. Market Research & Strategy:

Analyse market trends, understand our competitors, and work with our team to develop targeted strategies to expand our reach. Sales Target Achievement:

Own and drive the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly targets. Collaboration & Reporting:

Work closely with project managers and senior leadership to ensure alignment on client needs, share insights, and provide regular updates on progress and pipeline forecasts.

About You

Proven Experience:

2+ years in a business development, sales, or account management role, preferably within the construction industry, but not essential. Excellent Communicator:

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. Results-Driven:

You are ambitious, target-oriented, and motivated by success. Hitting (and surpassing) goals isn't just a job to you—it's a passion. Tenacious & Persistent:

Comfortable with prospecting and rejection, you don't take "no" for an answer and know how to turn a cold lead into a warm opportunity. Highly Organised:

Skilled in managing your time, priorities, and pipeline, you bring a disciplined approach to every task and touchpoint. Industry Knowledge:

A good understanding of the construction industry or related sectors is a major advantage.
