The Role

As the Construction Director, you will lead the delivery of multiple new build housing and apartment projects. Working closely with senior leadership, you will manage construction teams, streamline project delivery, and ensure all developments are completed to the highest standards. You will take ownership of operational strategy and performance, while fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of new build residential developments, ensuring high standards of quality, cost control, and project efficiency. Lead project teams to ensure timely delivery while meeting key contractual and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement effective construction strategies, schedules, and resourcing plans. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, building regulations, and quality benchmarks. Manage budgets, contracts, and resources to maximise value and cost efficiency. Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams, including project managers, site managers, and contractors. Identify and mitigate risks, while providing solutions to project challenges. Maintain excellent relationships with local authorities, housing associations, clients, and other key stakeholders. Drive innovation in construction techniques and processes, with a focus on sustainability and modern methods of construction. Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Director with a proven background in delivering new build residential developments. The ideal candidate will combine operational expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Key Requirements:

Proven track record as a Construction Director or similar senior role within residential construction or property development. Strong understanding of construction management, planning, and delivery of residential developments. Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations, health and safety requirements, and construction standards. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and schedules effectively. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. What's on Offer:
