About the Role We have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and passionate SME business on the outskirts of Gloucester. Our Client takes great pride in their work and has built an enviable reputation in their industry. As part of their close-knit team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of construction projects through meticulous cost planning and tender preparation. Whether you are already an Estimator or looking to specialise more in this field, this role offers the chance to work with an experienced team, receive in-house training, and grow your skills. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a technical mindset, and a willingness to take accountability for their work. Key Responsibilities Preparing detailed cost plans and tenders for client projects Pre-qualifying information from enquiries Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations Assisting with the production of cost plans for clients Office-based role with very occasional nationwide client site visits (hybrid working available after training) What Our Client is Looking For Experience in estimating or quoting for construction/engineering projects Intermediate Excel skills with a strong mathematical bias (Grade B or above in Maths GCSE ideally) Analytical mindset and keen attention to detail Full UK driving license (Category B) and over the age of 21 (due to insurance policy) GCSE Maths grade B or above is essential What This Client Offers In-house training and development Supportive working environment with a collaborative team Opportunity to work in a company that values hard work, passion, and attention to detail Hybrid working arrangement once fully trained Occasional site visits to broaden your industry knowledge Working for a company with a very low turnover of staff, an industry leader in their specialised field.
