MJM Industrial are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Group Leader to work directly for a global market leader in material handling systems.

Acting as a safety champion and guardian of best practice for all construction related activity across project portfolios for the UK Branch. Acting as an enabler for the team's mission and vision harnessing leadership with a drive to set standards and positively collaborate with an everyday better mindset where safety culture and prioritisation forms the foundation of execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES Your role will include but is not limited to:

Harness a givers mindset and demonstrably grow/develop others strengthening the resilience and leadership capability within the team. Consistently champion accountability in good and bad situations measured through the performance of direct reports. Demonstrably understand the principals of servant leadership with proven emphasis on performance management and tactics to achieve the desired outcome. Demonstrably improve leadership and communication capability to enhance the team's brand in line with the team mission. Accelerate and strengthen collaboration through influence with wider functions achieving change and adoption. Remain resilient and maintain an inspirational setting through turbulence and challenging environments. Maintain an appetite and desire to grow and develop essential human skills through self-awareness and remaining an advocate for deliberate feedback. Aware of dependencies and intricacies of cultural make up and human behaviour. Actively work with a selfless mindset and embodied leadership principals. Consistently meet and exceed both operational and tactical K.P.I's. Strengthen relationships and cross functional collaboration supporting the Senior Construction Manager with strategic initiatives. Leader in safety & quality and proven execution of setting standards and elevating performance of others.

YOUR BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE It is essential you meet the following criteria to be successful when applying for this Construction Group Leader role: Experience in a leadership role primarily focussed on people/line management. Understanding of servant leadership principals and demonstrable people development skills. 5+ years' experience in successfully managing large multi-disciplined teams during delivery of large and complex projects in a demanding environment with proven results. Awareness and proven experience with aspects of project delivery throughout the lifecycle. Experienced in development and delivery of tactical plans supporting best practice and defining functional standards. Awareness and solid understanding of CDM 2015 Regulations and HASWA 74. IT literate, capable of using MS Office and Outlook as a minimum. Proven Safety record through stewardship within time critical and pressurised working environments. Financial and Project Management Awareness.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS SMSTS Trained as a minimum. NVQ Level 5 in Strategic Management & Leadership or equivalent. NEBOSH General Certificate or higher. CSCS Black Management Card. NEC Training or equivalent.

WHAT'S ON OFFER 28 days of annual leave (excluding public holidays). 40 hour working week. Bupa Medical Cover. Pension with Aviva.
