The Site Logistic Manager is responsible for the coordination of all SITE logistics operations for a mega construction project. This includes managing the flow of materials inbound from CONSTRUCTION JETTY AND FROM LAND TRANSPORTATION, equipment, and personnel to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the construction site. The role requires close collaboration with various departments, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure FLAWLESS logistics processes. Coordinate the delivery of inbound and outbound materials, storage, warehouse, distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure timely and efficient use. Establish and manage on-site logistics infrastructure, including laydown areas, storage facilities, and access routes. Material Management: Coordinate with project logistics and post order for the planning of material receiving and requirements. Implement effective material tracking and reporting systems. Equipment Management: Oversee the deployment, utilization, and maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles on site. Coordinate with equipment suppliers and rental companies to ensure availability and functionality. Ensure equipment is operated safely and maintained in good working order. Site Traffic Management: Coordinate the movement of heavy machinery, delivery trucks, and other vehicles to minimize congestion and ensure safety. Implement measures to mitigate potential traffic and transportation risks. Team Leadership and Management: Lead and supervise a team of logistics personnel, including coordinators, drivers, and equipment operators. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and ensure efficient operations. Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed. Stakeholder Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to align logistics activities with project requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for logistics-related issues and concerns, resolving conflicts and facilitating communication. Ensure all stakeholders are informed of logistics plans, schedules, and changes. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions to address any non-compliance issues. Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement among the logistics team and site personnel. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on logistics activities, including delivery schedules, inventory levels, and equipment usage. Provide regular updates to the Project Director/Construction Manager on logistics performance and any issues impacting project progress. Maintain documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
