Due to sustained growth, Contract Scotland are working with a reputable specialist sub-contractor based in Glasgow to source an experienced Construction Manager to join their senior leadership team.

This well-established contractor delivers a range of high-quality building envelope solutions, with a specialism in roofing and cladding. They've enjoyed successful growth in recent years and are looking set to increase their turnover again in 2025. As Construction Manager, you will play a key role in driving this success; coordinating all day-to-day operations, leading a team of Contracts Managers, developing and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects ranging from £5k to £1m in value.

Responsibilities:

Leading and supporting a team of Contracts Managers, ensuring effective coordination, guidance, and project delivery. Taking overall responsibility for day-to-day operations, with full oversight of contracts, ensuring quality, budgets, and timelines are achieved. Coordinating multiple projects across Scotland. Working closely with the Managing Director to align on business objectives and priorities; contributing to the strategic growth and operational success of the business.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a strong background in Construction or Operations Management within the construction industry. Have proven management experience within the roofing and cladding sector or in main contracting. Have demonstrable experience overseeing multiple contracts and project teams simultaneously.
