What You'll Be Doing

As a Construction Manager, you'll oversee the re-construction of a key section of the SZC works. You'll lead the charge in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. From tactical logistics planning to stakeholder engagement, your role will encompass the entire construction lifecycle, including: Team Leadership: Strategic Execution:

You will be helping the PM to develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans. Project Oversight:

To deliver new projects into Sizewell C Project with safety and quality at the forefront of our works. Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success. Continuous Improvement:

Driving innovation and embedding lessons learned to ensure world-class project delivery. Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation. We need a proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring: Industry Expertise:

Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on projects and working within regulated environments. Management Skills:

Supervising Tier 1 contractors. Leadership Capabilities:

Ability to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration. Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools. Strong Communication:

Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively. Education:

Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, or other related field desirable. Certifications:

SMSTS required, CSCS site manager card required. Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is a nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company.
