Construction Project Manager Sanderson Building Services are looking for a skilled professional to manage exciting projects and ensure high-quality results. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in project management within a medium sized construction company who excels in collaboration and delivery. Who we are: Sanderson Building Services are one of the leading medium sized construction contractors in South Yorkshire and surrounding area. Established in 2004, we are a family company who work on Local authority, Domestic & Commercial Projects ranging in value from £1K up to £1 Million. Summary of your Role: A multi-functional role which combines the estimating and project management of construction projects. The Construction Project Manager role will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Being a relatively small company, we require someone who is dynamic in their approach to work. The Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for a proactive and detail-orientated professional passionate about delivering high-quality results. Primarily an office-based position in Rotherham but will involve travel to all our sites throughout South Yorkshire and surrounding areas. SKILLS: Organisation

- Approach challenges with determination and empathy to find solutions. Job Role: Plan, organise, and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget requirements. Duties to include but not limited to the following: Manage multiple projects through the entire lifecycle. Ensure proposals comply with Building Control and statutory requirements. Analyse drawings and specifications to determine project requirements. Identify and engage subcontractors for required trades and services. Source and procure materials, fixtures, and fittings for projects. Prepare method statements and risk assessments as necessary. Produce and monitor construction programmes throughout projects. Attend internal strategy meetings. Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Resolve issues or conflicts during the construction process. Manage site teams and resources across multiple projects. Conduct site visits and inspections for quality control. Complete O&M documentation and manage defects at the end of the liability period. Control all financial aspects of a project, including preparing tenders and issuing valuations. Other Key Attributes: Valid UK Driving licence. Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
