Our client is a long-established name in the specialist field of commercial fit out. They are highly successful in the execution of complex smaller works up to £1million in value. They operate across London and the northern Home Counties, Herts, Beds and Bucks. Projects are fast track by nature and could involve structural elements, including layout alterations and mezzanines in commercial and industrial premises.
They offer a first-class service to an already established client base of blue-chip clients and have a strong order book secured through framework, negotiated, and repeat business.
Key Criteria:
It’s likely you will have a formal qualification in either Construction Management or Quantity Surveying. 3 years plus experience in the UK fit out/refurbishment sector as a Project or Assistant Contracts Manager. Alternatively, you could be a time-served tradesman who has progressed up the management ladder and is commercially minded. You will report directly to the board and have a high level of autonomy, working closely with the commercial manager in pricing jobs, adding design input, and overseeing the delivery of projects through to PC. If you are currently in a position where your achievements go unrecognised and your efforts unrewarded, you are now seeking a new and stimulating challenge, offering you the progression to a Contracts Management role.
