Job Opportunity: Construction Project Manager (Steel Erecting) Location:

Feltham, TW14 (Office-based with site visits to Heathrow Airport) Pay:

£280 - £320 per day MTS Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager with a background in steel erecting, to join one of our clients in the office-based role in Feltham, TW14. This role involves managing projects at Heathrow Airport, so a 5-year checkable employment history is a must to apply for an airside pass. Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on steel erecting.

Familiarity with project documentation, risk assessments, and lift plans.

Strong client-facing skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Willingness to undergo a full airside pass application, including a five-year reference check and Criminal Record Check.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

Manage projects from order placement to completion, ensuring smooth execution.

Client Liaison:

Work closely with client teams, attend necessary meetings, and update project documentation using client systems.

Design Collaboration:

Coordinate with the design manager on surveys and buildability issues.

Material Procurement:

Oversee material list production and collaborate with the Purchasing department for timely order placements and deliveries.

Fabrication Oversight:

Communicate with the production manager throughout the fabrication process until steelwork is ready for site delivery.

Site Readiness:

Ensure all RAMs and lift plans are prepared in advance of steel delivery to site.

Site Team Support:

Provide daily support to site teams, ensuring they have the resources to execute their tasks efficiently.

Commercial Issues:

Highlight and document any commercial concerns for review by the commercial lead.

Handover Documentation:

Complete all required handover documents and checklists to finalize project works.

This role will involve additional tasks as projects progress, offering variety and scope for professional growth. New hires will be paired with experienced PMs for a comprehensive onboarding process.
