Construction Recruitment Consultant (Hybrid Role)

The Role The Senior Recruitment Consultant role in VANRATH involves relationship building at the management/board level whilst also working with Hiring Managers and candidates in middle management across a wide range of clients. You will work in a supportive and collaborative setting, working alongside some of the longest-established and most successful recruitment professionals in the country and will be supported with the best recruitment resources available, allowing you to maximise your potential and earnings as part of the market leading team in this sector. Typical Duties for a Senior Consultant include: - Building relationships with clients & candidates via phone calls and face to face meetings to gain a sound understanding of their business, recruitment requirements and culture - Networking, interviewing (both new applicants and active/passive candidates, some with long-standing relationships with VANRATH), sourcing and screening candidates - Registering/advertising vacancies and managing the full, end-to-end hiring process with a breadth of warm clients whilst also pushing on to develop new business The Ideal Candidate Proven recruitment experience (min. 3 years in an end-to-end recruitment role) Ideally you will be a high performer in an agency and keen to maximise your return from this whilst working alongside the best consultants in the industry A strong academic profile with ambition, high gravitas and the confidence to engage with senior professionals and develop into a key member of the VANRATH team Excellent interpersonal skills, high work ethic and drive, with motivation to work autonomously whilst looking after the business goals of a team Benefits Those joining the VANRATH team will enjoy: Excellent base salary A guaranteed earning level for year 1 as you build your desk within VANRATH and allow any prior restrictions to expire Uncapped commission of 20-25% on all placement fees generated (with no SR) Full client entertainment expenses paid for Private medical Hybrid Working (4 days in office) Away days Breakfasts, Lunches, Snacks and much, much more!
