Construction Site Manager

Your new company Hays is working with a well-known Main Contractor who require a SMSTS Site Manager to work on a commercial build in Derby. The expected duration for this role is 5 months which takes the project through to completion. Your new role Reporting to the Senior Site Manager Supervising subcontractors Conducting quality and safety inspections Maintaining quality control checks Motivating the workforce Supporting with the logistics and deliveries on site Ensuring on-site safety through risk assessment and risk management This is very much a 'site based role' with minimal requirement for you to be based within the site cabins What you'll need to succeed Extensive experience working for a tier one contractor as an 'on-site Site Manager' It is crucial you are able to demonstrate your ability to effectively manage and drive sub-contractors & directly employed labour Experience coordinating all logistics on a busy commercial site Black/Gold CSCS card, SMSTS & First Aid are all essential What you'll get in return Up to £335 per day (Umbrella / PAYE) 5 months+ work ASAP start 45 hours per week with Saturdays often a requirement (paid additionally) What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
