Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor with a solid civil engineering background to join our team in supporting the development of an onshore wind farm. This role is an 18-month, full-time onsite position, beginning in December. You will play a critical role in overseeing foundation construction, including roadworks and pavements, ensuring all contractors adhere to project specifications, design, and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contractor Compliance: Monitor and ensure that all civil, electrical, and turbine contractors adhere to the terms of signed contracts, and verify compliance with the technical specifications, design requirements, and safety standards.
  • Foundation Supervision: Oversee foundation construction activities, including roadworks, pavements, and associated civil works, ensuring they align with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Quality Control & Safety Assurance: Implement quality control measures, conduct routine site inspections, and verify that safety procedures are strictly followed by all on-site personnel.
  • Program Management: Track and report on the project schedule, ensuring that contractors meet deadlines and that the project adheres to the established timeline.
  • Technical Oversight: Assess and confirm that all work meets technical design requirements and general specifications, proactively identifying and resolving any issues to maintain project integrity.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a point of contact between contractors and project management teams, reporting progress, identifying potential risks, and ensuring that all parties are informed on-site activities and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role in infrastructure, renewable energy, or similar projects, with hands-on experience in foundation construction, roadworks, and civil works.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of foundation construction, safety protocols, and technical specification adherence, especially related to onshore wind farm or renewable energy development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills; ability to enforce safety, quality, and schedule requirements effectively.
  • Certification: Valid health and safety certification is preferred.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale renewable energy project. If you meet the qualifications and are motivated to lead site operations to ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and design requirements, we encourage you to apply.
