The post holder will be responsible for ensuring effective and high-quality care is provided to patients in a timely manner, in conjunction with colleagues in the Emergency Department, AAUs, and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) for increasing the acute consultant presence and ambulatory care options. The postholder will be a clinical leader responsible for shaping service developments, improving quality and safety, and directly managing junior doctors within the wider multi-disciplinary team. Qualifications
Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice Full MRCP CCT/CESR in Acute/General Medicine. Must be on the GMC specialist register or will be within next 6 months. Knowledge
Clinical Governance principles Experience
General training in Acute/General Medicine to specialist level or equivalent Experience of teaching doctors-in-training and undergraduates Experience of clinical audit Experience in working in an SDEC Value Based Question
