Applications are invited to apply for a Consultant in Anaesthetics (paediatric/ regional) at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This post is to add to the current cohort of Anaesthetists at MKUH. Additional programmed activities may be available, but these are subject to annual discussion and agreement and do not form part of the underlying contractual agreement. Applicants are required to be eligible for entry on the Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). The consultant appointment is a new post within the Anaesthetic team at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will provide a general anaesthetic elective and emergency service for a busy DGH hospital. The post is a 1 in 13 non-resident on-call and will attract a 3% on-call frequency supplement. The department works flexibly in terms of lists and working days; however, this can be negotiated. An interest in paediatric anaesthesia and regional anaesthesia would be welcomed. This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
