Our CAMHS Learning Disability Service are looking for a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide clinical care to young people with learning disabilities in Suffolk with clinical lead responsibility across under 18 Learning Disability service.
We need someone who can lead by example by being part of the Clinical leadership team for the Learning Disability Services across Suffolk in order to deliver high quality care to patients and their families.
Main duties of the job The CAMHS Consultant ADHD role is pivotal in leading the daily clinical operation, development and implementation of a comprehensive child and adolescent ADHD assessment, diagnosis and treatment service. This role as part of the leadership team will recruit, manage and mentor a team of clinicians, and provide expert clinical oversight for all aspects of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care.
This role will be integral to the organisations governance structures and will contribute to the Clinical Governance structures, which will be led by the clinical governance leads in the organisation.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist and as part of a wider team, you will be involved in successfully networking with local clinicians and healthcare providers (both NHS and Private), implementing the ADHD service.
