A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a General Adult Psychiatrist to be part of a well-established Multidisciplinary Team as a full time Inpatient Consultant on Ward 34 at the Radbourne Unit, Derby with Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Ward 34 is a 20-bed male only acute psychiatric ward. As a clinical leader you will be involved in shaping and developing the service as the Trust is undertaking a new build project. In November 2024, Ward 34 will be moving to the Kingsway Site in Derby and the ward will be based in a new purpose built hospital with the eradication of dormitories. The ward will then be named Dove Ward. You will also have opportunities to grow and enhance your skills as a clinician and develop evidence-based innovative practices. Main duties of the job
