Consultant Haematologist
to support the services provided by NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The successful candidate will work closely alongside two existing substantive consultants in our new purpose-built facility at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, providing a Haematology service to the local population.
The department provides comprehensive Clinical and Laboratory Haematology with the potential to develop sub-speciality interests. The successful applicant will have training and experience in Haematology, with an expertise in Haemato-Oncology, and would have the opportunity to develop in a preferred specialist area.
Applicants must either be on the GMC’s Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining their CCST at the time of interview.
The post is intended as full-time (10PAs, 9 DCC, 1 SPA). Any candidate who, for personal reasons, is unable to work whole-time is eligible to be considered for the post on a less than full-time contract.
