Applications are welcome for a full time Consultant Psychiatrist (10PAs) on a permanent contract, working within the Adult Mental Health Care Unit.

This is an exciting time to come and join our Medical Workforce and have the opportunity to shape the provision of care to patients within the community transformation.

The main focus of this post will be provision of mental health services to the county region of Nottingham, specifically the Broxtowe and Hucknall Locality Mental Health Team, which covers the relevant practices within the catchment area and includes the associated university populations.

An Advisory Appointment Committee (AAC) will be required for this post.

The main role will include the following responsibilities:

Cover for colleagues when on leave. Working within the multidisciplinary team supporting other members of the team. Providing leadership and consultancy to the team, including support of multidisciplinary team meetings and RAMM meetings (meetings to discuss patients who are not very well and plan interventions, referrals, team cover).
