We are hiring for two unique posts: Gosport War Memorial, Hewat Centre: Lead mental health services for adults within the Gosport area, working closely with a diverse team to manage complex cases, deliver patient-centred care, and support community mental health. Parkway Centre, Havant: Oversee care for adults in the Havant and Waterlooville areas, collaborating with an experienced multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic, recovery-focused support and drive service improvement. Both roles offer 10 Programmed Activities (PAs) weekly, including a mix of direct clinical care and professional development. As a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry within Hampshire's CMHT, you will lead clinical care and provide expert guidance within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. Key duties for each post include: Gosport War Memorial, Hewat Centre: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment planning for adults with complex mental health needs. Oversee care delivery as the Responsible Clinician, ensuring patient-centred and recovery-focused interventions. Mentor and support junior doctors and allied health professionals, fostering team development and best practices. Lead psychiatric care within the community, focusing on integrated, holistic support for adult patients. Engage in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service outcomes and patient experience. Work collaboratively with team members to manage risk, provide clinical oversight, and support professional growth. Both roles require clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. Qualifications

Full Registration with the General Medical Council MRCPsych or recognised equivalent Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at time of interview. CCT in general adult psychiatry. Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
