Job Summary
Applications are invited for two new Consultants in Histopathology with a special interest in reporting gastrointestinal pathology, in addition to skin and/or head and neck pathology at Addenbrooke's Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Duties of the Job
In order to be considered, applicants must meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Histopathology or be within six months of the award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.

About Us
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.

The department is fully digitised, and successful applicants will be expected to move towards digital reporting as part of the national drive to digitise Histopathology services.
