We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Interventional Cardiology on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Cardiology department.

The successful appointee will be joining a department of 15 Consultant Cardiologists, where they will be expected to undertake various duties including: Participation in 1:8-10 Consultant Cardiology of the week rota Participation in 1:7-8 PPCI rota and regular PCI sessions Attendance of regular Heart failure, Echo, and Coronary MDT meetings Carrying out cardiology clinics Responsibility for the professional supervision & management of junior medical staff Carrying out teaching, examination & accreditation duties as required Participation in the clinical governance arrangements of the Trust & specifically within the Directorate including clinical audit & research
