We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in General Radiology on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Radiology department.

Our client has various achievements, including: For the last two years, the National Hip Fracture Database (NHFD) has rated us as the top hospital in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland for meeting best practice criteria for patients treated for a hip fracture. Among the top 10 hospitals in the country for hip, knee, and joint replacement outcomes. Stroke services regularly achieve high ratings in the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) scores. Consistently high early detection of cancer, with cancer survival rates in the NHS Clinical Commissioning Group area being the best in the east of England.
The successful appointee will be asked to fulfill various duties within the trust, including: Joining the other 14 Consultant Radiologists in providing a comprehensive radiology service to patients in the area. Undertaking general radiology including CT, MR, ultrasound, and plain film reporting. Having specialist interests and supporting the relevant multidisciplinary teams. Teaching and training of Radiology SpRs, Radiographers, Medical Students, SAS doctors, and other staff as appropriate. Participating actively in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
