We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Rheumatology on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Medicine department.

The successful appointee will be asked to undertake various duties within the department, which include: Providing support for the specialist nurses and junior trainees. Participating in clinical research and teaching medical undergraduate students. Managing Rheumatology clinics, including general Rheumatology clinics, Early Arthritis Clinics (with access to MSK ultrasound), Rheumatology Hot Clinics, and telephone clinics. Seeing inpatient referrals unless admitted to the rheumatology medical ward, where the case load will be shared. Participating in clinical pathway development or development of specialist services such as vasculitis or connective tissue disease.
Our client offers the best of both worlds, with attractions of big cities, attractive market towns, and villages, all within easy travelling distance & excellent transport links to big cities such as Birmingham & London, along with 2 highly touted international airports.
