Job description CREM Recruitment are actively seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our client, a small but well known Civil Engineering Consultancy based in Essex. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and management of infrastructure projects, specifically focused on Highways and Drainage. This position requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, as well as proficiency in various software tools essential for infrastructure design and project management. For the right candidate this is an opportunity to develop your skills and experience with a view to taking the lead on the transport infrastructure practice. Duties Design and develop infrastructure projects using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. Collaborate with 3rd party multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective system design and integration. Utilise ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis to support project planning and execution. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project development. Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation for stakeholders. Provide technical support during the construction phase, ensuring adherence to designs and specifications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years practical, industry experience within a related role. Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, CAD software, and ArcGIS is essential. Strong understanding of system design principles related to infrastructure projects. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and external stakeholders. Previous experience in infrastructure engineering or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
