Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm On-Call Requirements:
Yes – ward round from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays every 6 weeks Job Plan Overview: Mornings: Monday: Clinic Tuesday: Clinic Wednesday: Complex inpatient meeting Thursday: Academic meeting Friday: Clinic (alternating weeks) Afternoons: Monday: Referrals Tuesday: Neuroradiology meeting Wednesday: Consultant and departmental meetings (monthly) Thursday: Advice & Guidance Friday: Admin Key Responsibilities: Provide expert clinical service in neurology, managing a diverse patient load. Conduct and lead clinics and patient reviews in both GRH and Cheltenham. Participate in on-call rotations as specified, including weekend ward rounds. Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain high standards of practice in accordance with current medical regulations and ethical guidelines. Candidate Requirements: GMC registration with a specialty in Neurology. Proven experience in a consultant role within Neurology. Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills. Ability to travel between sites as needed. Additional Information: EPP clearance will be required for the successful candidate. CVs must be approved by the Trust.
