The department has the latest neuro navigation systems, stereotactic frames, intraoperative ultrasound, 5-ALA and ICG-enabled microscopes and endoscopes. We have intraoperative MRI and an integrated neurosurgical operative suite. We have recently acquired a neurosurgical robot. Nottingham University Hospitals brain tumour centre is one of only two Trusts in the country to be recognised as a Tessa Jowell Centre of Excellence for both Adult and Paediatric tumour treatment.
