NHS GREATER GLASGOW & CLYDE CONSULTANT OTOLARYNGOLOGY POST WITH ANTERIOR SKULL BASE INTEREST Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified candidates for the above post, based in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This full-time replacement post is suitable for applicants with an interest in and fellowship experience of Advanced Rhinology (Endoscopic and Open approach). The successful candidate will join a large team of ENT Consultants delivering elective, emergency and outpatient services across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The team includes Rhinologists and Anterior Skull Base surgeons offering a wide range of surgical treatments for disorders of the nose, paranasal sinuses and skull base. We are currently looking to improve the care we offer by streamlining our diagnostic services to maximise out-patient utilisation and surgical throughput. We would be keen for a candidate who would participate in this process. Following the centralisation of emergency receiving and our inpatient service at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Consultants will participate in a 1 in 8 on-call rota. Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have full registration with the General Medical Council and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher Specialist Training leading to CCT. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
