Key Responsibilities:
Passion and skill in the engagement of distressed and traumatized female patients and their families
Collaborative, inclusive and service user focused approach to assessment and formulation / diagnosis
Clear, evidence-based approach to risk assessment and management
Ability to appraise complex, multi-faceted information from various sources and bring together into a shared, coherent understanding
Creative and collaborative approach to planning and delivering interventions and care plans
Strong, compassionate leadership skills
Trauma informed clinical approach
Expert in prescribing in the perinatal period
Knowledge of best practice and evidence relating to this clinical specialism (including risks)
Good working knowledge of attachment, infant mental health, and infant development
Understanding of pregnancy, antenatal and postnatal physical health considerations
