Applications are invited for a Consultant that specialises in Acute Medicine to join a busy, innovative and friendly team at a Trust based in the beautiful countryside.

The Emergency Admissions Unit is one of their newest wards; it has 30 beds and primarily cares for medical patients.

The work of the team is integral to the successful achievement of the 4-hour ED wait performance, which has been greater than 95% for the last two years.

The Trust really values the impact that you as a Consultant will have on the patients and services; therefore, they're offering an enhanced benefits package (subject to criteria) which includes:

Welcome payment. A generous relocation package, including Visa and travel costs. 10 hours of paid time for professional development every week. £700 personal budget for training and development every year.

The post holder must have the following skills and attributes:

Ability to lead and develop the service Ability to develop effective working relationships on an individual, multi-professional and team basis with all levels Ability to communicate effectively Understanding of clinical governance and the individual responsibilities it implies Ability to establish good working relationships with other members of the multidisciplinary team Flexible and adaptable to competing demands Commitment to modern practices

Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice. Applicants must have entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview date), CESR or European Community Rights.

For candidates who reside abroad, you must have completed the necessary language test (IELTS / OET / NARIC) before applying. You must be able to satisfy the language test requirements of the UKVI remit.
