Exciting opportunity for an actuary with product development or conduct experience to take on a role within their award-winning Insurance & Financial Services practice, supporting the Partners and Client Directors across a variety of client assignments.

  • Location: Edinburgh/Glasgow/London
  • Type: Permanent

Key Duties (including but not limited to):

  • Providing high quality support and advice to their insurance and reinsurance clients both in the UK and globally.
  • Delivering to their clients as a subject matter expert in the key areas of your experience.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, building a strong network of contacts in the life insurance industry.
  • Identifying and developing further consultancy opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborating across the business, particularly with their investment and risk transfer specialists in the firm, to deliver on cross-practice projects.
  • Dependent on experience, candidates are likely to be qualified UK actuaries or hold another professional or quantitative risk qualification.
  • Experience in product support or the conduct agenda, either ‘in-house’ at an insurer or in consulting.
  • Experience of planning projects and a track record of delivering work on schedule.
  • Sound grounding in actuarial techniques and strong IT skills.
  • Working knowledge of product development and/or pricing, product reviews, customer journeys.
