What We Offer You: A Collaborative & Supportive Environment: Lead a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Lead Clinical Care: Take responsibility for the clinical care of patients, conducting ward rounds, risk assessments, and fostering a therapeutic environment. Responsible Clinician: Act as the Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983). Service Development: Play an active role in strategy development and participate in clinical governance to drive excellence across the service. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff, facilitating their professional development. Expert Patient Care: Contribute to patient assessments, formulations, and treatment plans, ensuring high standards of care are met. About You: We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with a CCT in Forensic Psychiatry or Rehabilitation Psychiatry, who has: Extensive experience in a similar environment, preferably within forensic or rehabilitation settings. A commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care and a passion for multidisciplinary team collaboration. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
