As a Consultant Psychiatrist within our team, you will be at the forefront of providing essential mental health and learning disability services to a diverse population of 1.8 million people in Kent and Medway. Main duties of the job This is a 10 PA plus 0.5 PA and 3% Category A availability supplement for on-call post. Part time or job-share applications are welcome. Successful applicants must have MRCPsych or equivalent and be on, or within six months of inclusion on, the Specialist Register and be fully registered with the GMC, as well as Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act. Person specification QUALIFICATIONS Essential criteria MB BS or equivalent medical qualification Desirable criteria

Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management. MRCPsych Additional clinical qualifications. ELIGIBILITY Essential criteria

Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment. Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months. Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment CLINICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Essential criteria
