Applications are invited for the position of a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join an excellent trust based in South West England.
The Trust is merging with one of the country's leading NHS Trusts and is now looking for a forward-thinking, innovative professional to join their caring and committed team and be an integral part of their new vision.
This is a replacement full-time consultant post (10 sessions) providing an Acute Medicine and Respiratory service to the Trust. It is advertised as a 10 PA post; however, candidates wishing to be considered for a position with fewer sessions are welcome to apply.
They are seeking an enthusiastic Respiratory Physician to support the Trust in delivering high-quality care across a dedicated 28-bedded inpatient ward, plus maintaining respiratory care of patients who may be outlying in other areas.
The Trust delivers outpatient respiratory services, including Lung Cancer pathways and has a newly refurbished endoscopy suite for bronchoscopies. The respiratory service also performs elective and emergency pleural procedures from a base in the Ambulatory Care Centre and Medical Day Case Unit.

Applicants will be expected to hold the MRCP or equivalent and must be fully registered with the General Medical Council. The appointee must be on the GMC's Specialist Register or within 6 months of being included on the register at the time of interview.
